Four things you CAN do to help your business this week!
We are thinking of you and want you to know that the entire Articulate Solutions team is here to support you in any way possible. At times of crisis and disruption like we are facing now, communication is more important than ever. Our team has brainstormed a few ideas that we thought might be helpful to help you and your business navigate this unprecedented situation.
- LET CUSTOMERS KNOW YOU ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.
As everyone struggles to adapt to the new “Shelter in Place” guidelines, it’s a good idea to send a brief email to your customers and let them know you are still working for them. You can also connect through social media or with a quick phone call just to see how they’re doing. Make it clear how you are handling the situation and how they can contact you. We also recommend posting a notice on the home page of your website and on your social media channels. - MAKE SURE YOUR MESSAGING IS SENSITIVE TO THE SITUATION.
If you have previously scheduled advertising or social media posts, review the messaging to be sure it doesn’t come across as “tone deaf” given the circumstances. For example, don’t post photos with large groups of people gathered together. If possible, make changes so you can still market your business in a positive way without seeming insensitive. - COMMUNICATE HOW YOUR BUSINESS MODEL HAS CHANGED.
We are all adapting to a “new normal” – which is likely to last for months, not just a few weeks. Be proactive and share creative ways you are serving your customers’ needs, whether that’s offering free delivery or curbside pickup, setting up an online portal to submit documents, sharing video content, or providing additional services. - WORK ON THOSE PROJECTS YOU NEVER HAD TIME FOR.
This unexpected “season of slow” can be the perfect opportunity to finally spend time on projects that are probably long overdue. That might include refreshing your website, setting up an online store, creating a new advertising campaign, or increasing your social media presence. That way you’ll be ready to go when the recovery period begins.
These are challenging times for us all. If you need help with anything—from crafting an email to your clients to overhauling your website—the creative team at Articulate Solutions is here to help you succeed and help get you through these difficult times. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
